5 stars – Several families stayed in this house for Thanksgiving weekend. It has 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom which was a definite plus. The upstairs room was perfect for the kids and the ping pong table was an added bonus. We decided to heat the pool and so glad we did!! The kids swam everyday we were there. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was wonderful to work with and check in and out process easy!

The house comfortably fit our party of 12. Location was perfect. You are close to Rosemary Beach and Seaside. I would love to stay here again. This was the perfect vacation.

5 stars – We stayed for a long weekend with our grown kids and 3 year old granddaughter. We loved the house! It was very clean, comfortable and just beautiful! We spent a great deal of time in the pool – we paid the extra for heating it. Although the beach is at the end of the street – it was a long street. We drove down the street to the Beach access, unloaded all of our stuff and then one in our group drove back to the house and walked to meet us on the beach. OF course- the beach was amazing! I can’t think of a thing at the house that we would change – Highly recommend this house and the host! Excellent all the way around!

5 stars – Our family loved our stay at Old Salty 30A! The house is in a great location near Rosemary/Alys and a short 10 minute walk from the beach (Note: This was tough with little ones so I’d advise bringing a wagon so the kids can ride; Luckily we had one and they enjoyed the walk to and from the beach). Christine is an INCREDIBLE host. She’s very thorough and hospitable. She was easy to contact and quick to respond. I loved getting to know her and learn more about her home and 30A in general. The pool is outstanding and a ton of fun. House was clean and easy to access. Tons of parking at the house, but no parking at the beach so you have to walk or shuttle. We had a private chef (Damiano, The Tuscan Table Chef) who made an exceptional meal for our crew and we loved every minute of that experience. Highly recommended. We can’t wait to return to 30A and recommend Old Salty to families and friends to create memories that will last a lifetime. Cheers!

I recently stayed with a group of 10 ladies, and we had a wonderful girls’ weekend! The house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was so nice having en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom! We also really enjoyed the backyard – the pool was great, and the porch was large enough for our whole group to eat, hang out, and relax. The beach access was a short walk right down the street. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others! Christine, the owner, was so wonderful – so responsive, helpful, and kind. She was great! Thank you, Christine, for a wonderful stay!

5 stars – We stayed a week at Old Salty 30A in late August. The house was exactly as Christine describes and the pool was even better. Christine was a great host. We had 6 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 1 year to 6 years old. The house layout and accommodations were perfect for our family. The large kitchen and eating area were great for preparing meals and eating together. There is a huge amount of cabinet and counter top space. We had most meals at the house due to the pandemic outbreak in Florida. The house is every well equipped for a family with small children. The pack-in-play and the high chair were a big help. Each bedroom having its own bath is a great benefit. The outside, particularly the back porch and the pool area, was great. The large table on the back porch was ideal for breakfast and lunches and as a way to escape the sun for a while. It is also a great place to prepare for the beach getting sunscreen on and loading up the beach bags. The pool is awesome. The shallow end was ideal for the small kid to walk around in and to splash in. The opposite end was deep enough for the bigger kids and adults to jump in and play around. The house is well equipped with pool toys and floats. It also has a lot of beach equipment. The two wagons are beginning to show a little wear. The kids also enjoyed the swing in the driveway and the front yard for playing and running around. As described the house is located at the end of the street and is about a half mile from the beach access. This makes it feel very peaceful and off the beaten path. There are a lot of people in this area so that was very much appreciated. It also made you feel pretty safe with the kids playing outdoors. The beach access is walkable but we were glad we rented a golf cart for the week. I was unable to get any beach service at this public access so if you plan on a long day at the beach you will need to take everything you need. Christine was an excellent host through the booking process, leading up to the stay and during our stay. She was very responsive to our questions always responding within a couple hours and most of the time much more quickly. Everything she told me proved to be accurate. She is very knowledgeable of the area and what it has to offer. Upon arrival we did have a couple housekeeping issues and Christine was very quick to resolve these. She was more than accommodating in meeting our needs and requests. She is clearly a Superhost. Christine thanks for sharing your house with us!

5 stars – We stayed in Old Salty for a week for a family reunion and the house could not have been more perfect! Its absolutely beautiful and looks like a home out of a magazine. The beds were so comfortable. Every room having their own big bathroom was icing on the cake! The kitchen was so gorgeous and was perfect for all of our big family meals we had each night. The beach is stunning and is at the end of the street. We loved having the pool and the outdoor shower was perfect after a sandy beach day. The upstairs big room has a second mini room that isn’t even pictured making that space huge and a great hangout for the kids or sleeping arrangement for parents with littles. My family will definitely be staying here again and we had the best week in the most perfect home!

5 stars – This house and its host (Christine) are amazing. We were blown away at how clean the house was and the amount of space for our party of 12. The pictures don’t do it justice, the kid’s room (with all the bean bags) had plenty of room. In fact, there is a whole other room, not pictured, that can accommodate another three beds. Everything was just as it is described. The house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac so traffic is minimal. We rented golf carts for our stay, otherwise, it is a 10-minute walk to the beach. We’re from South Florida so we are used to beaches, this one was so nice – no surprise that it is one of the top beaches in Florida. The best part of this beach is that it is private to residents so there isn’t a crowd to deal with. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway with a large family or group. Thank you Old Salty 30a and Christine!

5 stars – Christine’s house is really wonderful. It can comfortably house a lot of people allowing for everyone to have their own space. We travelled as three generations of our family – 4 kids and 6 adults… easily could have had 4 more with us. 5 bedrooms and 5 beautiful bathrooms? Heavenly. My 6 year old niece told me yesterday she was really missing the tree swing. My mom – the outdoor kitchen and pool. My nephew loved that he got to sleep with his baby bro in the kids room upstairs. For us it was really convenient to have babies napping upstairs while the rest of us were at the pool relaxing. We did have a lovely day or two at the beach down the street. The sand was so clean and soft – walking into the water the bottom of the sea floor was sand only… such a treat. Since this is the west side of florida the sunsets are really something fantastic. I originally booked this house because my Nonna was meant to travel with us – there are 3/5 baths and 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor which are only 2-3 short steps up to the front porch or down to the pool. We spent time at the surrounding neighborhoods – lunch at George’s at Aly Beach was delish. Sunset and dinner in Rosemary Beach and we even took a ride down the road to the Hub and to Seaside FL. It was so relaxing and so nice to have the option of the kids playing in the front yard, in the pool, on the swing or taking em down the street to the beach. Everything about the house itself was impeccable SUPER CLEAN – and so comfortable. The big kitchen stocked with all the basics we needed to enjoy meals at house. A comfy living room to relax in at night. The outdoor kitchen with the grill and sink and cooler – all made for a really wonderful week stay we will all remember for a long time. If you look at other properties in the area you won’t get your own yard and pool with close proximity to the beach. Hope Christine has availability the next down we want to come down to Old Salty.

Even if you just want to get away with friends, this home is perfect! Seacrest beach was so beautiful and not chaotic at all. I love Destin, but Seacrest was just so peaceful and relaxing. The homeowner was so great to work with! She is amazing! We will be back next summer for sure! We have found our Florida getaway home! You will not regret the home nor the area! Ohh, btw her rugs and home decor were perfect! The restrooms were spotless, and I am VERY picky about restrooms and how they are kept clean!

5 stars – Christine is an amazing host! Very quick response time and great to work with! We had 3 families for a total of 13 people, and it was perfect! Plenty of space! The kids loved their rooms, and the pool area was so nice. The pack-n-play was very appreciated, too. It’s just a short walk to the beach, but we rented bikes and it made it much easier. The cul-de-sac was perfect for the little ones to ride their bikes in. We look forward to our next trip! We hope to be back soon!
